Terms & Conditions for CreditMantra

1. Introduction

Welcome to CreditMantra (“App”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access and use of the App, which allows you to view and manage your credit card and financial account information in one place. By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.
• You represent that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.
• The App is intended for residents of Canada and the United States. Users in other jurisdictions use the App at their own risk.

3. Services Provided

• The App provides account aggregation services through Plaid and other third-party providers.
• We do not provide financial advice, banking, or payment services.
• Information displayed in the App is for informational purposes only.

4. Beta Testing Acknowledgment

• The App is currently in beta testing and is provided for testing purposes.
• Features may change; data may be incomplete or inaccurate; the App may experience bugs, downtime, or interruptions.
• You agree to use the App at your own risk, understanding it is provided as-is without warranties.

5. Account Registration

• You must create an account to use the App.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

6. Data Collection & Use

• By using the App, you authorize us to collect and store personal information (name, email, phone, date of birth, gender) and financial account data retrieved via Plaid.
• Use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

7. Third-Party Services (Plaid)

• The App uses Plaid to connect to your financial institutions.
• By using the App, you agree to Plaid’s End User Services Agreement.
• We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of Plaid’s services.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for illegal purposes.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or its systems.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or gain unauthorized access.
• Use the App to infringe on the rights of others.

9. Intellectual Property

• All content, trademarks, and materials within the App are the property of the Company or its licensors.
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes only.

10. Disclaimers

• The App is provided as-is and as-available.
• We make no warranties of accuracy, reliability, security, or fitness for a particular purpose.
• Financial data retrieved from third parties may be delayed, inaccurate, or incomplete.

11. Limitation of Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any financial loss, missed payments, or inaccurate information.
• We are not liable for errors or omissions in third-party data (including Plaid).
• Our liability, if any, is limited to the amount you paid to use the App (if applicable).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its officers, directors, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the App.

13. Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice.
• You may stop using the App at any time by deleting your account.
• Certain provisions of these Terms survive termination (e.g., disclaimers, liability limits).

14. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ontario, Canada.
